This unique accommodation option provided us with an unforgettable experience. the boat was flawlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities. Conveniently located near a supermarket and within walking distance of various pubs and restaurants, we were able to easily explore the area. the interior design of the narrowboat was well thought out, ensuring we never felt cramped despite the limited space. the breathtaking views, especially during breakfast with the swans, added to the overall charm of the stay. Highly recommended for a truly special getaway.
The process of accessing the boat might be challenging for those with mobility issues.

What a mind-blowing experience! The boat was super well-equipped with a flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and cookware/kitchen utensils. The VIP check-in/-out made it feel extra special. We also loved that there was free parking available. No pets allowed and no smoking on-site were definitely a plus. Highly recommended!

What a unique and enjoyable experience! the accommodation was beautifully decorated and had a lot of extra touches like a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates. the spacious living room, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were all perfect for a cozy Christmas getaway. the bed was a bit narrow, but the sofa was a comfortable alternative. the location was great, with nice pubs and a cathedral within walking distance. We loved relaxing by the water with a glass of wine, watching the ducks and swans. the host was welcoming and even let us extend our stay. a truly memorable and character-filled holiday.
We had to step over another boat to get to ours, which may be challenging for less mobile guests. this minor inconvenience did not overshadow the overall wonderful experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a unique and exceptional accommodation. the beautiful narrow boat was spotless and decorated with a lot of character. the living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom were all spacious and well-equipped. I especially appreciated the little extras like the welcome bottle of wine and chocolates. the location was perfect, with lovely pubs by the river and a short walk to the nearby cathedral. the outside table by the water was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenic view. the host, Garf, was extremely welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to stay longer on our departure day. the hospitality and attention to detail made for a truly memorable experience.
A slight downside was the limited storage space for belongings, especially for longer stays.

This unique accommodation on a boat was exceptional! The boat was beautifully decorated with extra touches like a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates. We enjoyed running by the river and relaxing by the water with a glass of wine. The host was welcoming and even allowed us to extend our stay. it was a truly unique experience with lots of character.

The Puzzle Canal boat offered a unique and cozy experience for our Christmas getaway. We loved the beautiful wood finishings throughout the boat, giving it a luxurious and warm feel. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals while enjoying the passing boats. The bathroom exceeded our expectations, with a spacious shower cubicle and a powerful shower. The bed, although slightly smaller than expected, provided a comfortable night's sleep. The location of the boat was perfect, with shops, pubs, and restaurants within easy reach, and the Cathedral and town center just a short stroll away. The welcome pack of prosecco and chocolates was a delightful touch.
One aspect to note is that boarding the boat may be challenging for some guests. the bed felt a bit small for two adults, more like a 3/4 size.
